TEXAS BLUEBONNET on Suri Lace Cloud - Ikat Colorway

If you have ever driven along a Texas highway in the spring and seen bluebonnets blooming in veritable carpets of color, you'll understand the love we have for our beautiful state flower.

I thought we could work together to help those who have lost so much in the terrible flooding of the Guadalupe River in July. I'll be donating 20% of the proceeds from this colorway to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. They are right in the midst of everything in Kerr County and have been around since 1982. They get a very high rating on Charity Navigator, and I thought it made sense to give to a local organization that is likely to have the best understanding of what is needed. 

Since they'll need help rebuilding for a long time, I'll be donating through the end of 2025.

Texas Bluebonnet is an Ikat colorway with mostly the purplish-blue of the bluebonnets and short bands of the light fuchsia, really light green, light blue, and white. I created a couple of new dye colors to get this just right. I've included the photo of a bluebonnet I used as inspiration.

YARN BASE
I dyed this yarn on Suri Lace Cloud, which is a lot like fuzzy mohair but without the itchiness.
