When Russia attacked Ukraine, I had plans to dye up one of my regular spring colorways, but I could not stop thinking about the people of Ukraine and the horror that they were experiencing then and are still experiencing right now.

I decided to stop everything and dye up a new colorway inspired by the beautiful flower that is their national symbol, the sunflower. 

YARN BASE
I dyed it on Squoosh Worsted, which is an extra-soft and squishy yarn made of 100% extra-fine superwash merino. It's great for hats, sweaters, shawls, and blankets.
