Kristin Lavransdatter was inspired by the brilliant trilogy of the same name by Sigrid Undset. Kristin, the main character, makes some terrible decisions but ends up doing much good in spite of them.
The colors include several shades of lavender and purple along with a bit of pink and magenta, gray, and a soft peachy-pink. All the fibers are soft and lovely (of course), including merino, alpaca, and mulberry silk.
The last photos show some yarn I spun from these art batts. It's a 4-ply Hawser yarn.
