Kristin Lavransdatter was inspired by the brilliant trilogy of the same name by Sigrid Undset. Kristin, the main character, makes some terrible decisions but ends up doing much good in spite of them.
I made this as a hand-dyed yarn color first, and the last photo shows the art batts together with the yarn. The colors include several shades of lavender and purple along with a bit of pink and magenta, gray, and a soft peachy-pink. All the fibers are soft and lovely (of course), including merino, alpaca, and tussah silk.

Colors: Deep purple, lilac, purple, pink, magenta, gray, and peachy-pink

Each art batt is shipped to you in a lovely organza drawstring bag to prevent it from getting dusty until you are ready to use it. It also has a label to let you know what it's made of for future reference. This makes a great presentation if you are giving art batts as a gift to your favorite spinner or felter as well.
MY GIFT TO YOU
Also, as a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
