Like the character of Kristin, the yarn has a pleasing complexity to it. I dyed it on my So Silky Sock base using rose, peach, and lavender on a background of gray. I used my Splashed and Speckled method to dye these. That means each skein has the same colors in approximately the same proportion, but the placement of each color will be a little different on each one. The great thing about that is it means the chances of the yarn pooling are pretty minimal. I do recommend switching skeins every few rows if you prefer a more homogeneous look.
The second-to-last photo shows a little sample I knit from Kristin Lavransdatter.
