Carnevale is a delight. It was inspired by the elegant but playful costumes in Venice at Carnevale. I dyed half of the skein is dyed in my perfect purple colorway and the other half using my Splashed and Speckled method with burgundy rose, contentment, perfect purple, and renaissance blue.
I dyed it on Sock Perfection, which is made of 80% extra-soft merino and 20% nylon, making it perfect for socks or anything else you want to be machine washable and hard-wearing.
Carnevale on Sock Perfection
450 yards / 3.5 oz / 4 plies
80% extra-soft superwash merino / 20% nylon
Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry
Carnevale would go beautifully with Perfect Purple, Monet, or Contentment.
I have included a photo of a swatch I knit in this colorway on Sparkly Merino Sock. It should give you an idea of how the colorway will work up, but keep in mind that how it looks will vary a lot depending on the pattern you use and the yarn base as well.
