This colorway was inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night painting, and I designed it specifically for assigned pooling. For assigned pooling, one quarter of the skein is dyed in one colorway and the rest of the skein is dyed in a different colorway. When you get to the assigned pooling quarter, you do something different.
I was inspired by Dawn Barker's fabulous patterns when I started dyeing assigned pooling colorways, and now I have made my own assigned pooling pattern too. It's called The Long Way Round, and it will work great with this yarn, which I dyed on Squoosh DK
Squoosh DK is a soft and squishy yarn made of 100% extra-fine superwash merino. It's great for hats, sweaters, shawls, and blankets.
