COLORWAY
This colorway was inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night painting, and I designed it specifically for assigned pooling. For assigned pooling, one quarter of the skein is dyed in one colorway and the rest of the skein is dyed in a different colorway. When you get to the assigned pooling quarter, you do something different.

I was inspired by Dawn Barker's fabulous patterns when I started dyeing assigned pooling colorways, and now I have made a few of my own assigned pooling patterns too.

YARN BASE
Squoosh DK is a soft and squishy yarn made of 100% extra-fine superwash merino. It's great for hats, sweaters, shawls, and blankets.

YARN PAIRINGS
Starry Night would look great with Sunflower, Freedom Blue, and Annunciation Blue.

The last two photos show some knit samples. The first one shows a hat knit in stockinette with nothing special done for the assigned pooling section. The second shows the floret stitch from Dawn Barker's Float shawl.
