This colorway was inspired by a visit to the Tulip Festival in Holland, Michigan. Many of the people who live there had ancestors from Holland who brought the beauty of their homeland with them. Tulips feel like the absolute epitome of spring to me.
I dyed it on lovely, soft organic Polwarth top, which is one of my favorite fibers and one that I frequently recommend to new spinners. It's almost soft as merino, but it has a longer staple-length, making it easier to spin.
