This colorway was inspired by Telemachus, the son of Odysseus and Penelope who grows more like his father with the help of Athena as The Odyssey progresses. It includes copper for understanding, turquoise for hope, dark blue for loyalty, purple for royalty, and gray for the sadness he feels at the beginning of the epic.

Each scarf is unique--even more so than hand-dyed yarn.

These scarves are made of mulberry silk woven in the satin weave. It's shinier on the front than the back and has a soft almost velvety feel. This fabric is a bit thicker than habotai silk and a little less prone to wrinkling.

They measure 8 inches wide and 54 inches in length and can be worn in so many different ways. There are lots of great videos on youtube on different ways to style these.

They are also great to travel with too since they fold up to almost nothing and weight less than an ounce, and they make wonderful, unique gifts.

I recommend hand washing in cold water and hanging to dry. If you like it smooth and crisp, you can use an iron with a cloth or a steamer to smooth out any wrinkles
