This listing is for the softest most luscious pink available. It isn't a bright pinky pink. Instead, it was inspired by that beautiful color one sees early in the morning just before sunrise. It's a soft sophisticated barely-there pink with red speckles. I named it after Homer's epithet from the Odyssey, "rosy-fingered dawn."
I dyed it on my Buttery Soft DK base, which is made of 45% baby alpaca, 45% extra-soft 19.5 micron merino, and 10% silk, and it really lives up to its name!
Like most, this colorway is a little more muted on Buttery Soft DK than on many of my other yarn bases due to the alpaca and silk content.
Please note that this is NOT a superwash yarn. That means it can felt with agitation and changes in temperature, so it should be washed by hand in cool water. On the other hand, it can be fulled.
