The colors include dark blue, medium blue, lilac, eggplant, and a bit of chartreuse with a generous amount of speckles. I dyed this yarn on my new Squoosh DK yarn base, which is made of extra-soft superwash merino and comes on extra-big skeins.
Monet's Cathedral on Squoosh DK
250 yards / 4 oz / 4 plies
100% Extra-Fine Superwash Merino
Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry
Monet's Cathedral would look beautiful with Monet, Eggplant, Annunciation Blue, and Lilac.
I included a couple photos of a hat I knit up in this colorway using Quick and Cozy Bulky. It should give you an idea of how the colorway will work up, but keep in mind that how it looks will vary a lot depending on the pattern, the yarn base, and even the individual skein.
MY GIFT TO YOU
As a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.

Happy fiber artistry!
This colorway was inspired by one of my favorite paintings by Monet: "The Portal of Rouen Cathedral in Morning Light." Here's a link to the painting. He spent 2 years painting the same cathedral at different times of day, and some have called it the ultimate series in impressionism.
