There are more colors than meet the eye. The batts include lilac, eggplant, fuchsia, chartreuse, forest green, spring green, and deep magenta. In addition to the lovely soft merino, there are some silky bamboo and some gorgeous purple kid mohair locks to add texture.
The last two photos show yarn I spun from my Highland Heather batts.
Name: Highland Heather
Weight: 2 ounces
Contents: 85% merino top, 10% bamboo top, 5% kid mohair locks
Colors: Lilac, eggplant, fuchsia, chartreuse, forest green, spring green, and deep magenta
Carding Style: Layers of thin stripes carded once
Uses: Spinning or Felting (90% feltable fibers)
Each art batt is shipped to you in a lovely organza drawstring bag to prevent it from getting dusty until you are ready to use it. It also has a label to let you know what it's made of for future reference. This makes a great presentation if you are giving art batts as a gift to your favorite spinner or felter as well.
MY GIFT TO YOU
Also, as a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
Happy fiber artistry!
