These stitch markers open and close, so they're great for both knitting and crochet. They fit on knitting needles up to size 10.5 US/6 mm. All the edges are quite smooth so they aren't likely to catch on your yarn.
You'll get five different shapes with each set. The gems are only about 1/4 inch. They come on a gourd safety pin which you can pin to the outside of your project bag so you don't have to dig for your stitch markers.
