The painting that inspired this yarn colorway is by Leonid Afremov, a late 20th century artist who used a palette knife and these amazing brilliant colors that are sort of reminiscent of pointillism. I actually created this colorway for my November 2020 club and decided to make it a new fall colorway this year.
I dyed it on Sock Perfection, which is perfect for everything from socks to shawls to sweaters and beyond. It's made of extra-soft superwash merino and nylon.
Afremov's Farewell to Anger on Sock Perfection
450 yards / 3.5 oz / 4 plies
80% extra-soft superwash merino / 20% nylon
Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry.
The last photo shows Farewell to Anger, Monarch Butterfly, Forest Floor, Autumn Leaves, The Winedark Sea, Sleepy Hollow, and Aubergine together. Find Your Fade, her we come!
I included two photos of a hat I knit using this colorway on Wonderful Worsted to give you an idea of how it will work up.
