I named this colorway Party Like It's 2021 in the middle of Covid in 2020. I decided to keep the theme but keep moving forward--a long way forward this time. ;-)
This is the speckliest yarn I've ever made. I used magenta, orange, yellow, chartreuse, blue, berry, purple, and black speckles. Did I miss anything? ;-)
I dyed it on Diamond Silk Sock, which is an incredibly soft and strong luxury yarn base made of 100% mulberry silk. This is a great yarn base for those who are sensitive to wool. It is also tremendous for knitting and crocheting beautiful lacy shawls and for warp or weft as weaving. I would not recommend it by itself for sweaters or socks because silk does not have memory the way wool does.
