There's something uniquely wonderful about the city of Paris--romance, flowers, sidewalk cafes, and a certain je ne sais quoi in the air. I tried to convey that feeling of Paris in this yarn, especially Paris in spring.
I used my Sparkly Merino Sock base, and I think the sparkle is a perfect match for the colorway. It's a lovely base for shawls and cowls and hats.
The last photo shows a garter-stitch sample of this yarn.
Paris on Sparkly Merino Sock
409 yards / 4 oz / 4 plies
92% superwash merino / 8% lurex
Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry
Paris would go beautifully with Lilac, Annunciation Blue, or Rosy-Fingered Dawn to name a few.
I included a small swatch I knit up using this colorway on Sparkly Merino Sock. It should give you an idea of how the colorway will work up, but keep in mind that how it looks will vary a lot depending on the pattern, the yarn base, and even the individual skein.
