VISIT TO LYME Indie-Dyed Yarn on Suri Lace Cloud

Regular price $27.00

Quantity Available: 1

Visit to Lyme was inspired by and named after a beautiful and important portion of Jane Austen's Persuasion. Anne Elliot, Captain Wentworth, and several others go for a visit to the seaside at Lyme. It is a turning point in the novel. In addition to the book (of course), the 1995 BBC adaptation is fantastic, including the portion that provided the inspiration for this colorway.

The colors include several shades of blues and greens as well as a little bit of white.

I dyed it on my Suri Lace Cloud yarn base, which has all the delightful texture of fuzzy mohair yarn with none of the itch. It's made of baby suri alpaca and silk, and it has a wonderful halo.

It can be used on its own or held double with another yarn.

The yarn comes in 50 gram skeins with 437 yards per skein.
