I first dyed Dreams of the Sea when I was longing to see it in the middle of COVID. It has beautiful jewel tones including several shades of blue and jade green.
I dyed this yarn using my Splashed and Speckled method, which means each skein contains the same colors but in different places, making each one unique. I used my Sparkly Merino Sock base this time, which is made of 92% superwash merino and 8% sparkly lurex. It's a lovely base for shawls and cowls and hats.
