Van Gogh's "Still Life with Two Sunflowers" was the painting I used as inspiration for my June 2021 club colorway. Now I'm excited to bring it into the shop! I'm including a photo of the painting in some of the photos.
This is a block variegated colorway. It would be great for Planned Pooling
I dyed it on my Buttery Soft DK base, which is made of 45% baby alpaca, 45% extra-soft 19.5 micron merino, and 10% silk, and it really lives up to its name!
Like most, this colorway is slightly more muted on Buttery Soft DK than on many of my other yarn bases due to the alpaca and silk content.
Please note that this is NOT a superwash yarn. That means it can felt with agitation and changes in temperature, so it should be washed by hand in cool water. On the other hand, it can be fulled.
