I couldn't resist naming this yarn after that amazing legendary creature that has inhabited our imaginations since ancient times. In the Medieval era, unicorns were symbols of purity and grace in art and literature.
I started with a light shade of lilac and added Burgundy Rose, Contentment, and a fantastic neutral shade to give it some complexity. I added purple speckles to finish it off.
I dyed this on my Cashmere Sock yarn base, which is made of 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, and 10% nylon. It's a wonderfully luxurious and soft yarn great for everything from shawls and sweaters to fabulous socks.
