All the fibers are very soft. Not only is there merino wool, but there's also bamboo, mulberry silk, pulled silk, and a bit of shimmery firestar. I made handspun yarn from this colorway first and then decided to make some more art batts so you could have the fun of spinning them too. The last picture shows the way the handspun yarn looks as a thick-and-thin single-ply yarn, but this could be spun up any way you choose.
These art batts contain 74% feltable fiber, so make your own judgment call about whether that's enough for you to felt them.

MY GIFT TO YOU
Also, as a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
