The Lupine Lady was inspired by the children's book, "Miss Rumphius" written by Barbara Cooney. It's a delightful tale of hardship and beauty. I have included a photo from our own book.
I dyed this colorway specifically with assigned pooling in mind. There are lots of patterns out there for both knitting and crocheting, but if you are new to the idea, I recommend Dawn Barker's knitting patterns.
I dyed three-quarters of the skein a soft sky blue and the other quarter in purples and blues with a touch of green for the flowers.
I used my Sparkly Merino Sock base, which is made of 92% superwash merino and 8% sparkly lurex. It's a lovely base for shawls and cowls and hats.
