The Coronation of Aragorn is one of my Lord of the Rings inspired colorways. After the ring has been destroyed and the battles have been won, Aragorn finally comes to his rightful role as king of Gondor. It is a moment of solemn joy, and I tried to make the colorway reflect it.
The colorway has old gold, forest green, chocolate brown, turquoise, and lots of royal purple. It is the deepest colorway in the whole collection.
I dyed this yarn using my Splashed and Speckled method, which means each skein contains the same colors but in different places, making each one unique. If you plan to use more than one skein in a project, I recommend switching skeins every few rows to create a more consistent look.
I dyed it on my Squoosh DK yarn base, which is made of extra-fine 19 micron superwash merino and comes in extra-large skeins.
