TEDDY BEAR Handdyed Soft & Strong Superwash Merino Sock Yarn

Regular price $24.00

I dyed this lovely tonal yarn a rich, warm teddy bear brown. It would look great on its own of course, but I really made to go with several of my variegated yarns that I dyed using the same fingering-weight base. Take a look at the YARN PAIRINGS section below for some ideas of yarns that would look great with this one.

I made 2 in the same colorway. If you need more, convo me. They will never be exactly the same, but I can make as many as you need at the same time so they will all match each other.

The yarn is priced per skein.

PROCESS AND PACKAGING
Each skein of yarn is spun or dyed by me with loving care and contains a label with the yarn facts shown above. Your yarn is wrapped in tissue paper and shipped promptly, making a great presentation if you are giving it as a gift to your favorite fiber artist--even if that happens to be you!

HANK OR CAKE
Unless otherwise specified, your yarn will come as a hank, which is basically a large loop. This is the best way to store yarn because there’s no tension being placed on it. Before you begin to use it, however, you will need to wind it into a ball or cake or you will end up with a tangled mess. The best way to do this is with a swift and ball winder. However, you can use the arms of a patient friend or just put your yarn over two dining chairs back to back and wind it into a ball by hand. If you don’t have a swift and you plan to use the yarn fairly soon, I would be happy to wind your yarn into a cake for you at no extra charge. Just mention it in your note to seller when you check out.

MY GIFT TO YOU
As a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order.  Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
Happy fiber artistry!
