I named this colorway Smitten because that was my own reaction to the colorway when I saw it. It's made of deep rich colors including eggplant, burgundy rose, forest green, gold, copper, and navy.
I dyed it on my Sparkly Merino Sock yarn base, which shows the colors beautifully. I used my Splashed and Speckled method, which means each skein contains the same colors but in different places, making each one unique.
Sparkly Merino Sock is a lovely base for shawls and cowls and hats.
The last photo shows a little stockinette sample I knit up using this colorway.

Smitten would go beautifully with Forest Green, Eggplant, or Burgundy Rose to name a few.
MY GIFT TO YOU
As a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
