When we lived in Arizona, we were able to see the fabulous sunsets over Sedona at a distance from our house, and the sunsets were brilliant and amazing. It's one of the things I miss from living there. The colors in this yarn were inspired by those Sedona sunsets. They include a berry purple, a light orange, and a soft lilac.
This is one of a few block variegated colorways I made with planned pooling or intentional pooling in mind, though it could certainly be used for other projects as well. These are dyed across the skein, which you'll need to know if you're doing planned pooling.
I dyed it on Sock Perfection, which is perfect for everything from socks to shawls to sweaters and beyond. It's made of extra-soft superwash merino and nylon.
