I dyed up a new colorway on pure mulberry silk top. This is a limited edition item in my shop. It's incredibly soft and lustrous. The top itself is about 1" in diameter, so halfway between the thickness of pencil roving and regular wool top. I would recommend this for someone who has been spinning for awhile. Silk is tremendously strong and has a very long staple length, but it's also a bit slippery to spin.
This was a really interesting experiment in color. The fiber has a soft rose along with lilacs, blues, and pinks, and then it has brighter dots of the same colors. I'm not sure I could repeat it, so if you like it, you should get it.FIBER FACTS

MY GIFT TO YOU
Also, as a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
