SEASHELL Indie-Dyed Yarn on Stained Glass Sock

Imagine taking a quiet walk on the beach. There is a gentle breeze and the soft movement of the waves lapping at your feet. You come across a beautiful, perfect seashell and decide to take it home to add to your collection.

Seashell is a lovely subtle soft colorway that has silver, gold, copper, gray, white, light green, and a tiny bit of soft sea blue.

I dyed this colorway on Stained Glass Sock, which is a soft and squishy 2-ply yarn made of 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon. The thing that makes Stained Glass Sock uniquely wonderful is that one ply is made of white wool while the other alternates between black and white, so when I dye the yarn, it looks like leaded stained glass. Each 100 gram skein has 400 yards.
