Imagine taking a quiet walk on the beach. There is a gentle breeze and the soft movement of the waves lapping at your feet. You come across a beautiful, perfect seashell and decide to take it home to add to your collection.
Seashell is a lovely subtle soft colorway that has silver, gold, copper, gray, a soft sea blue, and some sea green too. I included a photo of the type of seashell I had in mind when I made the yarn.
I dyed this yarn on Alpaca Lace Cloud. It is a lace-weight yarn, but because of the texture, I recommend using slightly larger knitting needles or crochet hooks than you typically would for lace.
The yarn comes in 50 gram skeins with 328 yards per skein. It's great to use on its own or to hold double with a fingering-weight yarn to add its wonderful fuzzy softness to a project.
Seashell on Alpaca Lace Cloud
328 yards / 1.75 oz / 2 Plies
74% Baby Suri Alpaca / 26% Silk
Care: Hand wash cold and air dry.
Seashell would look great with the same colorway on one of my sock-weight yarn bases or with Arwen, The Hands of the King, or North Wind.
