This is Rosy-Fingered Dawn dyed as a 20 gram mini skein. It isn't a bright pinky pink. Instead, it was inspired by that beautiful color one sees early in the morning just before sunrise. It's a soft sophisticated barely-there pink. I named it after Homer's epithet from the Odyssey, "rosy-fingered dawn."
I created these mini skeins using some of the most frequently used colors in my variegated skeins, so they will go with lots of different colorways.Take a look at the Yarn Pairings section below for some ideas of what to pair this with.
I dyed them on Splendid Sock, which is soft but tough, making it perfect for the heels and toes of your favorite socks but still soft enough for a lovely shawl. The yarn is made of 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon.
If you plan to make socks, I recommend pairing this with a skein of either Sock Perfection or So Silky Sock.
