Renoir's "Vases of Roses" was the painting I used to inspire the club colorway last October. The colors are light silver, deep blue, shades of green, rose-red, and lilac. I included a photo of Renoir's painting.
I dyed it on Sock Perfection, which is perfect for everything from socks to shawls to sweaters and beyond. It's made of extra-soft superwash merino and nylon.
Renoir's Vase of Roses on Sock Perfection
450 yards / 3.5 oz / 4 plies
80% extra-soft superwash merino / 20% nylon
Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry.
Vase of Roses would look fantastic with Mithril or Rosy-Fingered Dawn.
I included a small swatch I knit up using this colorway on Sock Perfection. It should give you an idea of how the colorway will work up, but keep in mind that how it looks will vary a lot depending on the pattern, the yarn base, and even the individual skein.
MY GIFT TO YOU
As a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
