PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE on So Silky Sock

That wonderful crisp fall feeling is in the air as you walk into your favorite coffee shop and order a pumpkin spice latte. You hear the espresso machine whir up and then watch as they add warm milk to the top. Then the barista sprinkles on just a bit of nutmeg and cinnamon on the very top.

You take your warm cup of autumn to a comfy chair and pull out your latest project made with yarn to match, which is of course this very yarn. ;-)

I used a new dye technique to make this colorway. There's dark chocolate brown for the coffee, an orange-brown for the pumpkin, and cream plus speckles for the milk with cinnamon and nutmeg.

I dyed these on my So Silky Sock base, which is made of half silk and half superwash merino, and the subtle shine of the silk really looks great with this colorway.

YARN SWATCH
I included photos of a hat I knit up in this colorway using Wonderful Worsted. It should give you an idea of how the colorway will work up, but keep in mind that how it looks will vary a lot depending on the pattern, the yarn base, and even the individual skein.
