PRINTEMPS Habotai Silk Infinity Scarf

Regular price $24.00

I dyed these silk infinity scarves in soft blues, greens, and whites. There is no way I could ever repeat this, but it came out looking like subtle flowers and birds.

These infinity scarves measure 11 inches high by 76 inches in circumference, and they go nicely twice around the neck without being tight at all.

They make lovely gifts just as they are, and they are also great for nuno felting. I have made matching felting fiber sets with these in mind right here.

What's the difference between silk chiffon and habotai silk? Silk Chiffon is a very lightweight crepe-type fabric that felts quickly and doesn't really need to be ironed. It's a bit less shiny.

Habotai silk is closer to what you think of when you think of silk. It has a distinct sheen, and it's a tighter weave. If you are planning to felt it, just know that it will take more work to get the wool fibers through it than silk chiffon. I tend to think it should be ironed after washing it.

As a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order.  Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
