POMEGRANATE Indie-Dyed Yarn on Stained Glass Sock

Pomegranate is right on the edge of red and pink with a hint of orange just like the beautiful fruit that inspired this colorway. It has some gentle tonal variation.

I dyed this colorway on Stained Glass Sock, which is a soft and squishy 2-ply yarn made of 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon. The thing that makes Stained Glass Sock uniquely wonderful is that one ply is made of white wool while the other alternates between black and white, so when I dye the yarn, it looks like leaded stained glass. Each 100 gram skein has 400 yards.
