I named this colorway Party Like It's 2021 because I'm pretty much done with 2020, and I'm guessing I'm not the only one. This is the speckliest yarn I've ever made. I used magenta, yellow, gray-blue, blue, berry, purple, and black speckles.
I dyed this colorway on Stained Glass Sock, which is a soft and squishy 2-ply yarn made of 100% superwash merino. The thing that makes Stained Glass Sock uniquely wonderful is that one ply is made of white wool while the other alternates between black and white, so when I dye the yarn, it looks like leaded stained glass. Each 100 gram skein has 437 yards.
Party Like It's 2021 on Stained Glass Sock
437 yards / 3.5 oz / 2 plies
100% superwash merino
Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry.
Party Like It's 2021 would look wonderful with Purple Delight and North Wind.
I included a small swatch I knit up using this colorway on Sock Perfection. It should give you an idea of how the colorway will work up, but keep in mind that how it looks will vary a lot depending on the pattern, the yarn base, and even the individual skein.
