Ophelia was a happy accident if I am perfectly honest. I was aiming for another new colorway I had in mind, and when the first two dye colors mixed in an unexpected way, I decided to go a different route. Ophelia has muted shades of rose, green, blue, and brown.
I named it after the character from Hamlet who loves Hamlet yet is discarded by him as he seeks vengeance upon his father's murderer.
I dyed it on Sock Perfection, which is perfect for everything from socks to shawls to sweaters and beyond. It's made of extra-soft superwash merino and nylon.
Ophelia on Sock Perfection
450 yards / 3.5 oz / 4 plies
80% extra-soft superwash merino / 20% nylon
Care: Machine or hand wash cold and air dry.
Ophelia would look great with Field of Lavender and Beowulf as shown in the last photo.
