Objectivity is the latest in my Ikat series, based on the method used for Ikat weaving, which is thought to have been the first decorative weaving technique in Japan, Indonesia, and several other ancient societies. On So Silky Sock, it's really dark gray with short sections of white all around the skein. When you knit it, it will look like little white stars on a black background.

I dyed this yarn on So Silky Sock, which is such an incredible luxury yarn base. It is made of 50% mulberry silk and 50% superwash merino. The silk gives the yarn strength and luster while the superwash merino gives it warmth and coziness.

This is my go-to yarn to use for warp when I'm weaving, and I love knitting with it too.
