Northern Lights was inspired by the aurora borealis. Some day I hope to see them in person! I dyed this yarn using my Splashed and Speckled method, which means each skein has the same colors but with different placement.

YARN BASE
I dyed it on Feather Sock, which is made of 85% extra-fine non-superwash merino wool and 15% silk. It's a 2-ply yarn with a lot of yardage. It's great for sweaters, shawls, hats, and more. Just be aware that it should be hand-washed in cold water so it doesn't felt. On the other hand, it's great for weavers and others who want to full their cloth.
