I love this beautiful new colorway. It has a lot in common with Beautiful Universe, but it is a little lighter and brighter. It was inspired by the aurora borealis or Northern Lights. Some day I hope to see them in person!
I dyed this yarn using my Splashed and Speckled method, which means each skein has the same colors but with different placement.
I dyed it on Diamond Silk Sock, which is an incredibly soft and strong luxury yarn base made of 100% mulberry silk. This is a great yarn base for those who are sensitive to wool. It is also tremendous for knitting and crocheting beautiful lacy shawls and for warp or weft as weaving. I would not recommend it by itself for sweaters or socks because silk does not have memory the way wool does.

Northern Lights goes beautifully with Lilac, Eggplant, Annunciation Blue, Fandango, Contentment, and so many more.
I included a photo of a swatch I made using this colorway on a worsted-weight yarn base so you can get an idea of how it works up.
