NORTHANGER ABBEY on Sock Perfection

If you are a Jane Austen fan, you know that Northanger Abbey is unlike all her other books. She is actually making fun of gothic novels in the book, and it is hilarious. I thought that would be an appropriate name for this yarn--dark and dramatic but with bright undertones.

I dyed the yarn with a variety of colors and then dyed it black over that. In dim light, the yarn just looks black. In bright light, you can see the various undertones as well.I think this will make a dazzling shawl or scarf to go with a black dress.

I dyed it on Sock Perfection, which is perfect for everything from socks to shawls to sweaters and beyond. It's made of extra-soft superwash merino and nylon.

As a token of my appreciation, I would be happy to include your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary from my organic garden or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order.  Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
