MONET'S WATER LILIES on So Silky Sock

Regular price $32.00

Monet's Water Lilies was inspired by Monet's amazing series of oil paintings by the same name. The colors include multiple shades of blue and green as well as lilac and a bit of bright chartreuse.

I dyed it on So Silky Sock, which is made of half superwash merino and half mulberry silk. It's a wonderful yarn base for everything from shawls to socks to warp or weft for weaving. It's incredibly soft and so strong I can't break it with my hands.

The last photo shows the particular painting I used as my inspiration.
