MONET'S CATHEDRAL Indie-Dyed Yarn on Cashmere Sock

Regular price $30.00

Quantity Available: 0
This colorway was inspired by one of my favorite paintings by Monet: "The Portal of Rouen Cathedral in Morning Light." Here's a link to the painting. He spent 2 years painting the same cathedral at different times of day, and some have called it the ultimate series in Impressionism.

The colors include dark blue, medium blue, lilac, eggplant, and a bit of chartreuse with a generous amount of speckles.

I dyed this colorway on my Cashmere Sock yarn base, which is made of 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, and 10% nylon. It's a wonderfully luxurious and soft yarn great for everything from shawls and sweaters to fabulous socks that cuddle your feet.
