The colors are random "splashes" and speckles of lilac, rose, blue, and magenta on a white background. Because of the random nature of the colors, it isn't likely to pool. It also means that no two skeins will ever be exactly the same.
I dyed it on Super Sport, which is a wonderfully squishy 80/20 superwash/nylon yarn perfect for hats, shawls, sweaters, and heavier weight socks for winter. It has great stitch definition.
Monet on Super Sport
328 yards / 3.5 oz / 3 plies
80% superwash merino / 20% nylon
Care: Machine or hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
Monet would look great with It's Complicated or Monet's Cathedral.
I'm included a hat I knit in this colorway to give you an idea of how it can work up.
