Monet is one of my favorite colorways. Wouldn't it make a beautiful shawl or delightful socks? This is a Splashed and Speckled colorway that goes beautifully with many of my tonal yarns too, including Burgundy Rose, Annunciation Blue, Renaissance Blue, Lilac, Eggplant, and Contentment. The amount and placement of each color will vary somewhat from batch to batch.
I dyed it on Aran Go Baa, which is a 4-ply yarn that comes on big 115 gram skeins. It's made of 100% superwash merino, and it has 210 yards per skein. Aran is the same as heavy worsted.
