Monet is one of my favorite colorways. Wouldn't it make a beautiful shawl or delightful socks? This is a Splashed and Speckled colorway that goes beautifully with many of my semi-solid yarns too, including Burgundy Rose, Annunciation Blue, Renaissance Blue, Lilac, Eggplant, and Contentment.
The amount and placement of each color will vary somewhat from batch to batch.
I used Feather Sock as the yarn base. Feather Sock is made of 85% extra-fine non-superwash merino wool and 15% silk. It's a 2-ply yarn with a lot of yardage. It's great for sweaters, shawls, hats, and more. Just be aware that it should be hand-washed in cold water so it doesn't felt. On the other hand, it's great for weavers and others who want to full their cloth.
