La Bohème was inspired by the brilliant opera by Puccini. It's my favorite opera between the music and the characters and the beautiful sad plot.
I dyed this using a multi-layered technique, and the colors are so deep and rich. The colors are gold, lilac, spring green, and a bit of blue, but the burgundy rose predominates.
I dyed this yarn on So Silky Sock, which is a luscious fingering-weight yarn made of 50% silk and 50% superwash merino.

Both of these smell wonderful and are natural moth deterrents. Just let me know if you would like one and which one you would prefer in the note to seller when you check out.
