LA BOHEME Indie-Dyed Yarn on Sparkly Merino Sock

La Bohème was inspired by the brilliant opera by Puccini. It's my favorite opera between the music and the characters and the beautiful sad plot.

I dyed this yarn using a multi-layered technique, and the colors are so deep and rich. The photos don't quite do justice to the colors. The colors are gold, lavender, spring green, and a bit of blue, but the burgundy rose predominates.

I dyed these on my Sparkly Merino Fingering-Weight yarn base, which is made of 92% merino wool and 8% sparkly lurex.
