This kit comes with my own Knit and Chat Infinity Scarf pattern along with one skein of Dreams of the Sea on Alpaca Lace Cloud and one skein of Dreams of the Sea on Splendid Sock. The pattern is specifically made to hold a strand of the soft and fuzzy Alpaca lace Cloud together with a skein of sock-weight yarn.
You'll receive a printed copy of the pattern, which includes instructions for a longer infinity scarf as well as a shorter cowl. A friend of mine found that she could get one infinity scarf and two cowls out of one set of yarn.
The pattern itself was made specifically to be great for a knitting group. I made it because I realized I wanted a pattern that was interesting and pretty but also involved no counting to speak of so I could actually knit and chat at the same time. I'm guessing I'm not the only one. ;-)
The first two photos show the yarn you'll get for this version of the kit. The final photos show my daughter modeling the infinity scarf that I made using Smitten on Dream Sock and Lilac on Alpaca Lace Cloud. You can see the included pattern on Ravelry here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/knit-and-chat-infinity-scarf-and-cowl. If you would prefer a digital copy on Ravelry instead of a physical copy of the pattern, just let me know.
If you are a weaver, another great way to use this kit is to use the fuzzy Alpaca Lace Cloud as weft for a scarf and the sock-weight yarn for the warp.
