Kingfisher was inspired by both the beautiful bird and the poem "As Kingfishers Catch Fire" by Hopkins. I included a photo of the bird I used for inspiration. The yarn has predominantly bright blue and orange along with black and white. There are some other wonderful shades where the colors join.
I dyed it on Sock Perfection, which is perfect for everything from socks to shawls to sweaters and beyond. It's made of extra-soft superwash merino and nylon.
