Javert is one of the colorways I created using Les Miserables as my inspiration. Javert was the detective who spent the entire novel (and musical) seeking Jean Valjean. Unfortunately, his sense of justice could not bend at all in the direction of mercy, so even when he knew that Jean Valjean lived a life doing good for everyone around him, Javert still made his one and only goal recapturing Jean Valjean.

Because of his absolutely black and white view of the world, I made his colorway just that--black and white.

I dyed this yarn on So Silky Sock using my Splashed and Speckled method, which means each skein contains the same colors but in different places, making each one unique.

YARN SWATCH
I included photos of a hat I knit up in this colorway using Wonderful Worsted. It should give you an idea of how the colorway will work up, but keep in mind that how it looks will vary a lot depending on the pattern, the yarn base, and even the individual skein.
