This colorway was inspired by Jane Bennet. the oldest of the five sisters in Pride and Prejudice. She is so kind she never sees a fault in another and thinks so little of herself that she alone fails to be certain of Mr. Bingley's regard for her, so when he leaves, she suffers intensely from what she assumes to be his lack of regard for her. Her colors are blue for loyalty, white for her great virtue, and soft pink for the love she has for everyone, especially Mr. Bingley.
I chose a slightly heavier lace-weight yarn for this. It is made of soft merino, silk, and sparkly stellina. The sparkle is definitely there but fairly subtle. This is not a superwash yarn, but honestly, any open lacework project would need to be washed by hand anyway, right?
